As a yoga teacher, do you want to use hands-on assists to support your students’ practice but lack confidence in your skills and abilities to do so? If so, then you may well benefit from joining me on Saturday 22nd July for an afternoon of knowledge, skill development and fun.

During this three-hour workshop we will explore some fundamental tools and techniques that can be applied to support, enhance and develop your students’ practice through touch. Whilst we will talk about the appropriateness of touch, when to use it and when to avoid it, the workshop will be largely practical, offering you plenty of time to get hands on, whilst also receiving adjustments from others in order to gain knowledge on how it feels in your own body. We will look at what I see as some of the most fundamental aspects involved in assisting and adjustments, including the importance of working with the breath, sensitivity of touch, timing, purpose and technique.

Whether you’ve been teaching for years and want to simply brush up on your skills in a space centered around getting touchy-feely or are much newer and seeking to lay stable foundations to work from then I invite you to come and join me.
