Yoga Retreat
East Sussex, UK
Friday 1st - Monday 4th May 2026
‘Having rediscovered yoga in lockdown, it took me a year to venture to a public class. I was so lucky that Sammy’s was one of the first classes I attended. Her teaching has brought me a profound sense of joy and connection to body and mind. It also brought me to a place where I felt brave enough to book my first ever retreat. I went alone and with an open mind and I’m so pleased I pushed myself out of my comfort zone. The weekend was everything I needed and, although sometimes challenging, its balance of yoga, workshops and time to just be, ensured I came away feeling empowered, peaceful and ready to face the world with renewed confidence.’ Emma, Publisher
Less than an hour from London awaits a nourishing and empowering luxury long weekend retreat in the beautiful East Sussex countryside. This retreat aims to provide you with an opportunity to disconnect from your everyday life, reconnect with the deepest parts of yourself and indulge in prioritising you.
You can expect 4 days and 3 nights of delicious, nutritious food for the belly, yoga to energise and balance the body, meditation to soothe the mind and self-care focused workshops to support the soul in shining brightly.

Our Home
Located in the heart of the High Weald, a protected area of outstanding natural beauty, Fair Oak Farm offers the perfect blend of charm, style, and serenity for a weekend retreat. Just one hour from central London, this exclusive 12-acre estate provides a unique experience with a variety stylish accommodations, ranging from boutique bedrooms to secluded private lodges, all designed to provide both privacy and comfort.
A true rural gem, the estate features generous communal spaces for classes, dining, or simply relaxing. It’s also the perfect place to immerse yourself in nature, wandering through gardens, orchards, and open fields whilst likely bumping into the estates free-roaming alpacas, rare breed sheep, and peacocks. If you want to enjoy something with a more luxurious touch, you can also take some time in the sauna or book a treatment.

The Food
All food over the long weekend will be carefully curated by founder of Cashew Catering, John Bayley, an award-winning chef and seasoned retreat caterer, offering a vibrant and mindful vegetarian culinary experience, perfectly suited for a yoga retreat.
Expect thoughtfully plant-based, nutrient-dense dishes that are beautifully presented, from seasonal salads to nourishing bowls and raw desserts. It’s also food to feel good about, knowing the team uphold a strong commitment to sustainability, recycling, composting, and minimising waste, mirroring the mindful ethos of a yoga retreat.
Whilst there is no alcohol included in this weekend, it is your weekend to do with as you wish, so you are more than welcome to bring alcohol if you want to have a drink or two with dinner.

The Yoga
You will be treated to four nourishing yoga classes, two pranayama sessions and two workshops that focus on mindfulness, self-enquiry and connection. The classes will be a combination of vinyasa and yin and the workshops will be exercise and task focused. If you've been to my classes before then I'm sure you already know that the classes will be both soulful and playful whilst creating the space for you to go deep into both the physical and philosophical aspects of the practice.
The workshops will include meditation, therapeutic techniques, writing exercises and group work to open up a space for growth, healing and re-establishing the relationship with the selves and the world that you deserve.
Whilst the classes and workshops on offer are all included, if at any point over the weekend, caring for yourself in a more unique and intelligent way means skipping any of the above and taking time for yourself then that is by all means encouraged. You are free to tailor the weekend to your own personal needs.

Throughout the weekend retreat, you'll have exclusive access to the entire 12-acre estate, providing the perfect opportunity to unwind and immerse yourself in nature. Sammy held this retreat with such grace. She beautifully balances being open and authentically herself while maintaining boundaries which leaves one feeling very safe and warmly welcomed. She’s an amazing teacher who skilfully brings in philosophy, in a thoughtful and accessible way that honours the tradition. Sammy’s classes are anatomically intelligent and perfectly paced so you can really get into your body and explore your edges. For a short retreat it felt really full and well rounded with a lovely combination of activities and time for oneself in a stunning setting. Emily, Yoga Teacher
